Strike, Bowl, Party, The Bronx Has It

Bowlerland on Hollers Ave brings family fun, clean lanes, and real Bronx energy every day of the week.

About Us

At Bowlerland, the pins start falling at 9 AM and the party doesn't stop until midnight, or 1 AM on weekends. Sitting at 2417 Hollers Ave in the Co-op City corner of the Bronx, this place has earned its reputation the old-fashioned way: clean floors, friendly staff, and a sound system that knows the difference between a family afternoon and a Friday night. Guests consistently call out the Motown and classic R&B playlist, music you can actually enjoy without covering your kids' ears.

The lanes are plentiful and well-maintained, the big screens overhead keep sports fans locked in between frames, and the dinosaur bowling ramps for little ones are a genuine crowd-pleaser. Over 1,300 reviews and a loyal neighborhood following don't happen by accident. They happen because Bowlerland treats every visit, whether it's a solo Tuesday session or a packed Saturday birthday party, like it matters.

What We Offer

Bowlerland runs the full playbook. Lane bowling is the centerpiece, with enough lanes to accommodate walk-ins, leagues, and private group bookings without the chaos. Kids roll with the help of bumpers and those beloved dino ramps, while adults can settle into a serious game or a casual outing with equal comfort.

Beyond the lanes, the complex includes a snack bar and full bar, arcade games to keep the competitive energy flowing between rounds, and a lounge area that transitions smoothly into nightclub mode on weekends. Event bookings for birthdays, corporate outings, and team gatherings are a specialty here. Takeaway food options mean you don't have to pause the fun to eat, and the sporting goods section lets you grab gear on the spot.

"My family had a good time staff was very pleasant and helpful. Place was clean, music was good just old time classics motown, R&B. No cursing not worried about sexually explicit lyrics, nice place to take family old and young. Only thing they should think about is adding a POS system like square. People would spend more money if it wasn't cash only."

"It was a good place to bowl. It was very clean. They have a lot of lanes available and big screens with sports showing. It was good for kids as well. They have cute dinosaur ramps for the kids to bowl and some arcade games. Price to bowl is great. $15 per person, per game including shoes. It's a very good competitive price. However, they are cash only which is an issue since no one carries cash like that anymore. It can be a headache since they don't have an ATM either. They need to upgrade to accept cards. The prices for food and drinks were way too expensive. I think people would order more food and make better use of the bar if they brought down the prices. Way too high for this economy. But overall bowling was a good experience."

"I went with my sister and her two kids to celebrate my nephews 6th birthday. I arrived with my service animal. She’s small, was in a bag and I had documentation and ID showing that she was a service animal and they denied us entry. It didn’t matter that I had proof nor did they consider my nephews birthday. They were rude and had no reason to treat us the way they did. I’m rating this a one star because that’s the minimum. I would have given it a 0."

"Despite the pricing per game that each comes with rental shoes, I really appreciate it here, though I wish All You Can Bowl special is offered sometimes before 6pm or whatnot. Then I would've loved it. :)"
